Seeking the Best Care for Whiplash?
At Bloomfield Chiropractic it’s our specialty.
Our founder, Dr. Robin Glass, has been in practice more than 29 years. And Bloomfield Chiropractic is the only chiropractic office in Bloomfield. Moreover, Dr. Glass is the only chiropractic neurologist in the tri-city area.
Whiplash injuries are commonly caused in the necks and backs of those involved in automobile accidents. More than 3 million Americans are injured this way each year, and about 10% of those injured become permanently disabled. “Minor” neck injuries account for up to 60% of all permanent impairment claims, and about 9% of all Americans suffer from chronic neck pain due to low-speed rear-impact collisions.
Whiplash injuries markedly impair the normal function of the nervous system. Not only do these injuries often result in neck pain, they often result in the following symptoms (in descending frequency): headaches, fatigue, shoulder pain, anxiety, middle back pain, lowback pain, sleeplessness, upper limb tingling or pain, sensitivity to noise, impaired concentration, blurred vision, irritability, difficulty swallowing, dizziness, forgetfulness, upper limb weakness, ringing in the ears, and jaw/facial (TMJ) pain.
Dr. Glass has received advanced certification in the diagnosis and treatment of whiplash injuries from the Spine Research Institute of San Diego, taught by one of the world’s leading authorities on whiplash, chiropractic orthopedist Dr. Arthur Croft. But he’s also discovered that his postgraduate neurology education is especially relevant to successfully treating victims of whiplash.
